When your room's internal dimensions don't match the drawings, here's how we ensure a perfect fit:
- Measure Twice, Cut Once: Re-measure walls on-site with a laser measure; our tiles are cut to order, so we adjust dimensions based on your actual measurements
- Custom Cutting Service: We trim tiles to match specific wall angles, even for non-square corners, based on your real measurements
- Use a Flexible Grout: For minor gaps (up to 1/8 inch), flexible grout compensates for slight inaccuracies, preventing cracking and ensuring a seamless look
- Leave Expansion Gaps: Always leave a 1/4-inch gap around walls for natural stone movement and easier adjustment for uneven walls
- Professional Installation Tip: If walls are off by more than 1/4 inch, use a baseboard or trim to hide the gap; we can recommend matching marble trims
