Production Process: From Block to Finished Tile
Our manufacturing process ensures precision and quality at every step:
- Block Cutting: Large marble blocks are cut into thick slabs using diamond wire or gang saws, minimizing waste and ensuring consistent thickness.
- Slab Resizing: Slabs are trimmed to smaller dimensions using water-cooled bridge saws or CNC machines to prevent cracking.
- Calibration & Thickness Reduction: Slabs are sliced into thin veneer sheets (1-2 cm thick) using multi-blade cutters, with a calibrating machine ensuring uniform thickness.
- Surface Finishing: Veneer sheets are polished or honed with diamond abrasives to highlight the natural grey tones and subtle veining. Edge profiling is also applied.
- Final Cutting: Tiles are cut to exact dimensions using tile cutters or waterjet cutters for precise edges.
- Quality Control & Packaging: Each tile is inspected for cracks, color consistency, and finish, then packaged in protective foam and crates for safe shipping.
