Each table is handcrafted in our family-owned stone workshop, combining traditional artistry with modern technology. Here’s a glimpse into the journey from raw block to finished product:
- Slab Cutting: A gang saw with diamond-tipped blades cuts the marble block into precise slabs (2–3 cm thick), using water to reduce dust and ensure clean cuts.
- Slab Selection: Artisans inspect each slab for natural veining and color consistency, then hand-mark the circular shape using a template.
- CNC Cutting: A computer-controlled bridge saw cuts the rough circular shape with high accuracy, following digital designs.
- Edge Profiling & Polishing: Hand-held tools or profile wheels shape the tabletop edge, followed by multi-head polishing with diamond abrasives (grits 50–3000) for a mirror-like finish.
- Surface Finishing: Honing or polishing achieves the desired sheen (matte or high-gloss), and a sealer is applied for stain and scratch protection.
- Drilling & Support: Precise holes are drilled for pedestal bases or legs using a diamond core drill, ensuring secure alignment.
- Final Inspection & Packaging: Each table is hand-checked for defects, then wrapped in bubble wrap and foam, and shipped in a custom wooden crate.
